Corporate Run 2006
Last Thursday was the Miami Corporate Run 5k. Katherine and I ran together. There were 21,162 runners from 588 companies. It's more for fun than fitness. I knew what to expect, and so it was much better this year than last year.

We crossed the finish line, the time said 45:56.
After the starting cannon sounded, we waited 90 seconds to move. It took us 7.5 minutes to cross the starting line, and we were not yet walking. We were still moving like a herd of cattle, baby steps.
After about a 1.3 miles, we probably got going at a 10 minute mile pace, I would guess.
